MYLABS AI Companion
One installation. Separate pairing for each app.
Get desktop notifications when your ClearHours assistant replies or a confirmed action completes. Use the same Windows Companion with Peerglass and DocStudio.
Install or update MYLABS AI Companion to version 1.2 or newer, open it from Start, then enter the six-digit code in ClearHours. If version 1.2 has not reached your Store yet, keep using the web app until the update arrives.
ClearHours receives notification permission only: no screen, files, clipboard, camera, microphone, mouse or keyboard access. Your account and action confirmations stay in ClearHours. Notifications contain no work details and require the app tab and Companion to remain open. Unpair from setup or forget the browser from the tray menu.
The animated workforce assistant preview below is a separate pilot. Its desktop chat, optional face and offline features are not included in this shared notification integration.
Animated workforce assistant pilot
PreviewA calm desktop home for the employee assistant.
ClearHours Companion is an optional Windows presentation for the employee AI assistant. It helps people reach their own work and timesheet tools, while every change remains visible and needs their confirmation.
The animated assistant is in Preview. Its pilot validation must complete before IT-managed distribution. The shared MYLABS AI Companion notification setup is available above.
What it does
Useful at a glance. Controlled by the person using it.
The Companion is a presentation layer for the assistant, not a separate monitoring product and not a requirement for using ClearHours.
-
A familiar place for the assistant
Open the employee AI assistant from the desktop, review work and timesheet context, and confirm each proposed change before it is sent.
-
Optional for every person
The companion face is off by default. People can hide it at once, and the assistant remains fully usable without it.
-
Presentation, not monitoring
The optional face does not use a camera or microphone, read the screen, clipboard or other programs, record keystrokes, or infer emotion, sentiment or presence.
Pilot path
A deliberate route to rollout.
The preview is introduced through a controlled organisation pilot so deployment and employee experience can be tested in the real environment.
- 01
Discuss the pilot
We confirm the employee group, supported Windows estate and the notice your organisation will use.
- 02
Plan a managed deployment
Your IT team reviews the policy and a controlled deployment ring. The preview is not a self-service download.
- 03
Validate with employees
Test sign-in, accessibility, reduced motion, performance and the employee controls before a wider rollout.
Privacy boundary
A companion is never a reason to observe more.
The face only reflects the assistant’s application state. It never becomes the only place to see status, and it can be hidden immediately.
No surveillance inputs from the presentation.
The Companion face does not read the screen or clipboard, use a camera or microphone, record keystrokes or infer attention.
No automatic changes from the Companion.
Assistant suggestions are shown in the panel with the exact operation before a person confirms them.
